Looking through a viewfinder is like seeing another world.

When I was 17 I got kicked out of my band. That was also the first day I shot a roll of Kodak Plus-X black and white film. When I developed the film and printed my first image in a janitor’s closet with no sink, ventilation, or light-tight doors, I had to know everything about photography. Since, I’ve dropped the bass guitar for good and permanently placed a camera in my hand. I love every aspect of my medium, and being a part of a thriving art and business scene in Northeast Texas.

I use digital now and love it, but I still love getting my hands dirty in a darkroom making silver prints.
